Cleaning Up Our Planet

Humans must coexist on this planet with all the other species and our obligations to other species as well as other humans is to use resources in such a way that the sustainability of the planet is maintained. This does not mean we should not partake in the conveniences and industries of modern life. Without living life and creating the resources humans need then any effort at conservation is fruitless. But the output we do produce as a result of our industry and production needs to be performed in a responsible manner. Many of the outputs of human production are very messy and the by products of manufacturing products are often harmful the environment by polluting both the air and water. These are resources that we rely on and that are extremely vital to life. If we ruin these resources we will all be in big trouble. Given this filtering the pollutants out of the waste of industrial production is important to our long term well being. Fortunately we do have excellent filtration compounds with one of the best being activated charcoal. Activated carbon filter devices are excellent at filtering poisons and pollutants out of the air and water thus making industrial production much less toxic to the environment.

Using Activated Charcoal

Activated charcoal is ingested after ingestion of a poison or a drug overdose. In such an emergency charcoal may be mixed with water and swallowed in small amounts, usually one gram per kilogram of body weight. Alternatively it may be administered through a feeding tube to the stomach. The activated carbon will bind to the poison and lessen the effects.

Similarly activated charcoal may be used on insect bite victims.

This product can also help provide relief from problems such as bloating and certain other intestinal problems. In addition to the ingestion methods mentioned above, tablets of activated carbon are available.

It’s important to note though that activated carbon will react with certain foods and medicines. Vitamins may be absorbed at a slower rate and activated carbon may interfere with medications taken concurrently by preventing absorption into the bloodstream. Ingredients in ice cream and chocolate syrup may interfere with the properties of activated carbon and should not be eaten together with activated carbon. Two hours is generally considered to be an adequate amount of time to wait.

Gold exploitation by Commerce group.

Activated charcoal and activated carbon are used in gold extraction.  There are many gold exploiting and mining companies around the world. But today the commerce group is well set in exploiting gold and various other silver ores. The most of the company’s mines are located in Republic of El Salvador, which is in Central America. The main aim of the company is to increase its share values by merging commerce groups with other companies. The company also plans to increase its licence area by increasing its share values so that the government will easily process the request and will grant to explore. The company believes that there are many potential mines from which the gold can be extracted easily .In the past 38 years the company had good name among its employees and also among the people surrounding the mines as it benefits them all. On December 6 Company’s El Salvadoran files a case to Supreme Court claiming the El Salvadoran environmental gave rights to explore two mines which will definitely cause harm to the people around it. On July 2008 it plans to merge the company with voter communications. But due to the downward trend in the primary and secondary equity markets company withdraw its plan believing it as not feasible. Earlier in this year company decided to merge the company to increase the production in El Salvadoran but it also failed and now the board of directors are planning to increase the business arrangement. The company has no revenue as it is not in production so it expecting funds from other companies so the mining works will be done easily and it can come back easily. So it is now searching a deal with the good company.
